September 5, 2026 | Diocese of Udaipur
The Diocese of Udaipur recently brought together young people from different parish communities for a special Youth Faith and Fellowship Gathering, creating an opportunity for prayer, reflection, learning and meaningful fellowship.
The gathering focused on encouraging young Catholics to deepen their relationship with Christ and discover how they can contribute positively to their families, parishes and wider communities.
Growing Together in Faith

The programme began with Holy Mass, followed by moments of prayer and reflection. Priests and youth leaders encouraged participants to see their faith not simply as something celebrated inside the church, but as a way of life that influences their everyday decisions and relationships.
Through interactive sessions and group discussions, young participants reflected on challenges faced by today’s youth, including education, career choices, relationships, social media and discovering their personal vocation.
Faith Through Action
A major theme of the gathering was service.
Participants discussed practical ways in which young people can become active members of their parish communities. From helping children and elderly people to participating in charitable activities and parish programmes, the youth were encouraged to use their talents in service of others.
“Our young people are not only the future of the Church; they are an important part of the Church today.”
The message inspired participants to consider how even small acts of kindness can become meaningful expressions of Christian faith.
Fellowship and Celebration
Alongside prayer and reflection, the gathering included cultural activities, music, group activities and opportunities for young people from different parishes to meet one another.
The atmosphere of friendship helped participants build new connections and strengthened the sense of belonging to one diocesan family.
A Mission for the Young
As the programme concluded, participants were encouraged to return to their respective parishes with renewed enthusiasm and a commitment to becoming witnesses of Christ among their friends, families and communities.
The Diocese expressed gratitude to the priests, religious, youth leaders, volunteers and young people who contributed to making the gathering meaningful and memorable.
The Diocese of Udaipur continues to encourage young people to pray deeply, serve generously and live their faith courageously.
A Message of Hope
The gathering ended with a prayer of thanksgiving and a renewed commitment to walk together as a community of faith.
May the enthusiasm and energy of our young people continue to strengthen the Church and inspire communities throughout the Diocese.
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12
